Lena Proctor Update

Lena Proctor and Ted give us an update on her progress so far this season.

As always with horses an ups and downs Summer.

Ted has been out competing BE100. Dressage has got so much better, getting 32 in our first BE Novice, and flying xc, but I think we’ve been feeding him too well as he hasn’t stopped growing ! This has caused issues in our show jumping as although tall I’m not yet the strongest .So after much thought I’ve sadly decided to sell him. I’ll only let him go to the best of homes!

But fate has been kind to me and I’ve acquired the ride on Elaine Durgan’s gorgeous mare WhiteRose Eclipse (Echo). We were placed second in our first ever ODE (Pony Club 90cm ) then a great trip out for our first BE100 at Shelford. Echo has already competed at Novice so the plan is to do two more 100’s (a BE requirement due to my age) then u18 Novice at Oasby at the end of the season. I’m so lucky to have this opportunity and can’t wait to see how far we can go together. Grace and Dotty cape planned for any trot ups!

We’ve also still been out enjoying Pony Club and has my last senior camp. I’ve made such good friends through the years.
